WTF is this!?!???

Driver side door plug... don't see what could plug in there..i plugged everything in there already. so WTF is this??

can't be.. the plug doesn't fit properly. this has the extra tab on the bottom left while the speaker is on the bottom right. the speaker plugs into a plug that's with the window switches... that's what i thought at first until i realized it doesn't fit at all.

yea... that's what i've noticed... but my speakers are plugged in so this is really baffling.

In my experience of running a body shop, yellow plugs/wires are normally for air bag components. But since I've never looked in detail at a BMW's door wiring, I can't say for sure.

I just took my door apart last week to change the door handle. That looks like the airbag harness that clips on to the side airbag. There should be another harness attached to the airbag unit which that one clips to. (I think)

yellow or orange connectors are for airbags, but that connector doesn't look like an airbag connector.
