if you took off the stock fender lips, you could put on some aftermarket stuff about 3 inches wide? You could install some 17x10's with some 245/40s. hehehe! Definitely rolling go kart!

mmmmm, 245/40 17s on a 2700 pound car *drool*

Do you have any idea how much those are going for? That looks like it could be a worthwhile mod, and it would make your MINI very unique!

Chrome mirror caps.... wouldn't even think about it on my car... but doesn't look too bad!

edit: found the price... 390 pounds... what's that in dollars? somewhere around 600? They don't look like they widen out the fender much though :dunno

Looks like it may extend the fender line 1.5 - 2.0 inches. I guess you can stuff 225/40s under there.

225s would still be a vast improvement over the stock 195s, but at around 600 bucks i'd rather get a ss exhaust and just paint the stock ones :dunno :D

Painting stock ones will run anywhere from $400 - $1200, depending where you go. $600 isn't bad, and they look cool with the bolts sticking out!

well.... its $600 plus paint... which will be $400-$1200

They look awesome, but I just don't have enough money to be spending it on luxuries like a body kit :D

Why paint it? The stock ones aren't painted. Gives it the no nonsense racer look.

Ouch! But it's just the fender flares. I don't think the ones in the pic are painted, but then again, the car is black.

Wait a minute! I don't know if we can use those here. Look closely, the side marker lights are not on the new flares.:mad:
