Is it just me or does anyone else have a problem taking the battery cover off in their car. I have a 93 318is and i can not get the battery cover off. The plastic cover moves some but i dont want to force it and end up breaking it. How do I take the cover off??

You press in on the little tab that is on the side of the tray towards the center of the trunk. This is supposed to release the catch. You have to lift up on the side towards the middle of the trunk and then pull towards the middle of the trunk. the side by the rear 1/4 panel has tabs that fit into the side.
Sometimes it can fit very tightly and you do have to force it. This can sometimes be fixed by adjusting the plastic part that it snaps into.
