I was out for a 15 miles drive, then I turned off the engine. When tried to turn it on again 30 minutes later, it won't start. Maybe I ran out of fuel? The fuel indicator was yellow, though it should have had enough for maybe another 50 miles...
Anyway, got another 20l and still won't start.

Any suggestions? Please, I wanna get back home :D

fuel pump and/or fuel pump relay...99.999% sure...check for spark...if no spark then its the DME..

You ran out of gas... Did you park it on a hill, and was the back of the car lower than the front? If so than you drained all of the remaining gas away from the engine. It happened to me once, had to get roadside assistance to help me, Never again will I let that light go on.

Stupidest thing ive ever heard

you car's fuel is always pressurized. when the electric fuel tank is cut off, there is an accumulator that holds residual pressure and cuts it off from returning it to the tank.

1st check for spark
2nd check for fuel
3rd check for compression.

I think I ave a similar issue...my M20 will start up perfectly when the it is cold, but will take longer to start when it's been running recently, unless it was only run for a very short period of time. Strange, in my opinion, as logic, at least mine, would lead me to believe that a warm start would be easier to perform than a cold one...maybe I just don't ave logic??
