Alright here it is. I've had this car for a few months now, I am the 3rd owner, and had great aspirations for this low mileage beauty. I wanted to see just how much power I could get out of a 4banger. I thought I would put a supercharger on it to have some fun, and eventually rebuild the whole engine. However i'm going back to school so I don't lose my sanity as a social worker, and thoughts of purchasing a diamond for my girlfriend have caused me to contemplate my priorities. Anyway enough about the why's and onto the car.

The Good:
-ONLY 60k miles carfax certified!
-Replaced the oe flywheel/clutch/slave and components to that of a lowmile 99M3
-17"motorsport wheels with pilotsports all around. PS2's on the front and PS1's on the rear (or so I believe. the fronts are directional and look real aggressive, I just put them on; the rears don't look aggressive but kinda standard looking)
-extra set of 4 15" bottlecaps with tires and great tread.
-replaced the front lower balljoints with Meyle metal balljoints.
-new Pennsylvania inspection and emissions done a couple weeks ago.
-PERFECT tan manual seats, interior is great except for the headliner
-ok tint job

The Not So Good
-The biggy is that the clearcoat is peeling and needs a respray. Now this is a huge deal to somepeople (who will say the car is almost worthless and it will cost 4,500 to paint it...bullshit, then there are DIY's who have very succesfully resprayed their own rides for $500 in materials) depends who you are.
-shift knob needs replaced
-headliner needs some DIY or redone by a pro($125)
-minor dings and dents
-needs new roundels

so with this said I would need to get $5,500 and believe it is worth it with the condition and miles. I might be convinced to forgo my priorities for a nice E30 trade but prolly not. If I get lowballed I'll put this thing in a garage until I have money to respray, and supercharge.

Many BMW people look down on the 318's but I believe they do so wrongly. You can tear a lotta shit up with a tuned 4banger bimmer. IMO forget an M3 swap, get the most out of what you got.

So that's it. I'll post pics aspa....and have at it.

gotcha, however if I keep it for another 60k it won't be the same car ;)
