In the future I plan on adding a CAIS, exhaust, euro hfm, and chip. Do I need to stick to one company's products and do these upgrades in kit form (AA, ERT, Dinan); or can I mix and match. In other words do I need to match the software (chip) with that company's products?

yes, you can mix and match. I just don't hink all of that would add up to 40+hp though.

I wouldn't. Your car's dme will probe the new parts, and if it figures out from their signatures that they are from different tuner, whoa boy. Unpredictable at best.

LOL. j/k.

I'd talk to Karl at Active Autowerks. Straight shooter, and won't try to sell you upgrades based on fictitious dyno charts. I think the combo gets you 30-35hp crank hp, although ERT claims 45.

If you are trying to gain 50 horsepower and stay naturally aspirated (didn't know if you were or not), you will most likely have to install the cams also.

The euro hfm, cais, and chip will see about a 20-25 (tops) rwhp increase. With cams you would be able to turn (i think) 240 or so at the wheels which would give you the 50 hp increase you are looking for.

By the way, i would try to stick with a single company's products from a cost standpoint. If you were buying all these parts at one time, most vendors would offer a nice discount.

Check out the dyno plots on their website, you'll get a good idea of where you will be with certain mods...
