My new cam setup is running just fine with the Dinan stage 2 ECU flash which
does not take into account the cam modification.

Newport Beach, Southern California. Just to let you know, my mechanic
has reassured me that the ECU by itself is probably capeable of handling
the M3 cam switch. The software for the cam switch from eurosport costs
around $600.00, which is more that I want to spend. You'll love the new
found HP with the M3 cams!

Im not sure what the detail is with DINAN software, they only thing that holds back is that if you want to add any additional mods that are not DINAN it wont read it correctly? I have dinan software along with dinan exhaust and have been thinking about getting the confronti to allow any other mods such as the cam kit, ect. but i heard you would have to go to dinan to reset into stock settings?

I think if you are going with Conforti software, the new flashing of the ECU
should take care of everything. I don't believe you need Dinan to reflash
to stock. Eurosport a ECU upgrade for the M3 cams in a 328. The only
problem is that it runs around $600.00.
