I noticed the rear's don't have a cap. I thought maybe mine were missing but according to realoem the rears don't have caps.

Anyone find this odd? Has anyone bought the front caps for the rears?

The BMW Dust Cap (http://www.mbsautoparts.com/searchitem.epc?lookfor=K7030-77916) is ONLY for the front as far as I know

So you guys don't think dirt is going to get in there? Maybe it's engineered differently and doesn't need a cap?

I also looked this up and found out that from they are only in the front. I havent seen another bmw that has them in the rear.

Main reason they dont have them in the rear is because the rear bearing is sealed and is pretty much kept away from any dust/debris etc.. The front is very susceptable to dirt and debris and that is why they usually go first especially after a lot of track/race use.
