ok thanks, also what if they were for a 98 M3. would i need to get the 98 M3 springs hats also or are they the same as 99.

95 spring hats are different from the 96+ hats. 96-99 are the same. I think if you look around on this forum you will find alot of info on the subject.

Now that I think of it, I think some H&R sport spring kits sold for the 95 M3 were nothing more than 96+ springs with 96+ spring hats, so you may need nothing... I could be wrong, but they are only about $12-$15 from the dealer so you might want to pick up a pair just in case.
