M3 idiot light- what is it?

I don't have an owners manual, but on the '95 M3 I'm considering it has a red light on the dash ( ) (except horizontal instead of vertical).

Is this oil pressure or ??

Not sure what light you're talking about but the oil pressure light is by the high beams light and the battery light.
