Pinstripe Headaches - Please help

My car is Cosmos Black and the previous owner had some silly fancy white pinstripes with his initials PAINTED on. :confused He also had some of those air dams that you put around the windows. I had the dealer remove the striping and the air dams from the car before I took delivery.

The dealer charged me $200 for the removal but didn't do a very good job of repairing the paint. Now I have swirl marks that go the entire length of the car where the pinstripes were that are noticiable in bright sunlight. Also, the door frames are slightly dull around the windows. I would like to get that showroom shine back to my window frames and get rid of the swirls.

Any suggestions?

Have you talked to the dealer about it yet? If you bought it somewhat recently, maybe they'll go back over it and do a little better job.

Problem is I bought it in South Carolina. It looked great when I picked it up, but time has allowed the original polish and shine to wear, revealing the swirls. It was used so I doubt there's much the dealer will do at this point.
