i need suggestions...i have a boston green m3 and some nice person decided to hit my front passenger fender while it was parked. you cant easily bang out the dents, since it isnt flat. what would u guys suggest? anyone had this fixed before? should i just get a new fender and have it paint matched? the paint is fine on it now...how much do you think it will cost to fix the dents???? HELP ME thanx

you may be able to have them do the paintless dent removal if the metal isn't mangled, just dented. either that or get a new fender and have the body shop spray it and then install it yourself. it's pretty easy to install a fender.

its not mangled, and the paint is decent and can be easily touched up. i just want to do the cheapest option. it was pretty much between buying a new boston green fender and paintless dent removal on mine. you would say go with dent removal?

paintless dent repair is excellent. keep in mind though with larger dents you will get an oil can effect, meaning the metal can no longer support it's structure and will push right back in. if this is the case it will need to be replaced.

hey Scubadude,

The EXACT same thing happened to me and someone ran into my parked car and left...it's not too bad, there's no paint damage, however it's dented in the same area. It's not that big of a dent and since my car is cosmos black you can't really notice THAT much, but it still breaks my heart. Have you gotten a quote on the Dentless repair yet?

as a dealer i pay between 25.00 and 35.00 a panel and no more than 95.00 for the entire car. seek out a dealer and ask them who they use. dent wizard is franchised and owned by the manheim auto auctions [cox corp] there work is good depending who does it. there are independent non franchised guys running around to.

i dont think i can use a dent doctor, cuz there are too many dings in too many different directions. i think itll be about 300 to pull off, remold, and then paint match to the rest. OUCH! oh well i cant look at it anymore. there arent any other dings on the whole car.

where exactly did you get hit? my front passenger fender was also dented (at the crease) and some paint was chipped off. i now touched it up fearing rust, but can that be banged out or do i have to take the fender off, fix it, and paint match it?

umm...well i thought it would be ok to just bang mine out, but mine has like 3 small dents on the top of the fender and a long ding on the side. it is the front passenger. if its just a small ding, then maybe it would be possible. good luck
