whats cheaper?

whats cheaper, to give a 95 s52 (i cant think of the word, but the part that increases it to 3.2 liters therefore making it equivilent to say a 96 m3, orrrr to downgrade 96 m3's software to obd I. I'm asking for the obvious reason, 3.2 has more torque, but obd I is more modable, so the goal would of course be to get the best of both worlds, so what would do that cheapest? And while we are at it, whats the difference in prices

While I'm here I might as well not make too many posts, so what year did bmw put the little m stripes on the seats that i LOVE, and what exactly is the difference between obd I and II, I know one is newer, but what differences elswise?

umm modding an s50 OBD1 and bore out the engine or S52 OBD1

I'd say boring out the engine would be cheaper...
