Anyone Know How To Protect Rims From Scratching?

I wanted to know if there were some people out there that had a way to protect the rims from everyday debris. I have a set of deep-dish rims that I would like to protect from chips and scratches.

I've even thought of Clear-Bra on the rims. I even went ahead and called the manufacture. The only problem that I see happening, is that the rims may get too hot from just city driving that it may cause the clear bra to melt. That is only speculation, wether the rims will get too hot. I was wonding if any went this route, or if someone has a better way to protect.

i would think that a layer of wheel wax might be the only thing that you can really do to keep them from pitting and scratching. There's a DIY that shows how to refinish and repair scratches on rims, I think it's bimmerdiy.com.

As for Wheelwax, I really, really, don't like (said in kind words) . I've used it on my MC rims and not only does it not protect but...well here (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=345372&highlight=Juker008) .
