I placed $100+ order with Autogeek.net a few weeks ago.
One of the things I ordered was the yellow 6.5" cutting pad.

I began buffing with generous amounts of FI2. I started with the trunk, went to the roof. I noticed some pilling on the pad with the product, but figured it was normal. By the time I got to the hood the pad just completely started shedding foam. I had to stop. My entire garage was yellow from the foam particles. I spent hours and hours with a toothbrush cleaning yellow dust out of all my weatherstripping, door jambs, that fuzzy stuff around the sunroof. IT WENT EVERYWHERE! I didn't take photos of the car or garage becuase I was too frusterated but I have photos of the pad:

Is it normal for these pads to only last half a car? I clayed the car and everything the finish was completely smooth. The only think I can think of was the pad was a little damp and mushy when I took it out of its wrapper but I figured this was just a damp chemical coating like new sponges have. Does anyone have any idea what went wrong? Do you think Autogeek.net will stand by this?

Thanks guys. :(

That's pretty odd for that to happen so quickly. My pads usually last through several uses (depending on use).

Autogeek should take care of you with no problems. Contact them and send them the pictures...you'll probably have a new one within a week.

Email me with your order number and i'll make sure to get another one out to you. This is definately a first, but the pad should be completely dry when you first get it out of its packaged.

UPS just dropped off the replacement cutting pad. Thanks Jason!

Autogeek.net has been great to work with - I highly recommend them.
