Came to start my car yesterday morning and it wouldnt start????Whats that all about!!!!
Anyway phoned up the AA (think you guys call it AAA) the tecnician said that it was a flat battery how could this happen over night..Could it have been as a result of the retrofit 16:9 installation i had done...
I dunno buyin a new battery today see what happens..
Have you guys got any clues?????? :eyecrazy

16:9 is basically a plug and play replacement for the 4:3 units

hmmm, typical battery failure for BMWs which have a tendancy to go all at once. Sometimes...you will get strange electronic gremlins prior to a complete "no start"...but if you aren't aware of these "tell tale" signs...you might have dismissed them. Thinking back...did you have any strange electronic gremlins? Warning lights illuminating briefly, then going off...and when you checked, there was nothing wrong? Longer than usual starts?

Sometimes batteries just fail without warning. That is how they failed on all my previous cars. The car would start one day, then just dead the next, or leaving a resturant from dinner.
