Considering that someone may buy this locally, I'm looking for opinions on where I should set the price. It's been an excellent car at the track and around town but I need the space for a new car. I've already had some interest but with prices all over the place, it's hard to pin an exact figure down.

1989 BMW 325i with about 169k miles. 3.73 Limited Slip, Bilstein sport shocks, H&R sport springs, Ronal LS wheels 15x7.5, Bridgestone Potenza S03 205/55/15, BMP front stress bar, performance caster plates, front and rear urethane bushings, drilled and slotted rotors (front), stainless braided brake lines, Super Blue brake fluid, M-Sport steering wheel, Sport Seats, body colored side mirrors.

Timing belt was replaced last year and only about 1500 miles ago (I don't drive it much). A/C was serviced at that time and blows cold. I put in a nice set of sport seats in tan vinyl. There is a bit of seepage at the main seal. Slight misalignment of the hood and bumper due to a snowplow incident (per previous owner). It's been tracked but not abused. I would say somewhere between 3-4k, it really depends on how fast you want to sell it, im sure if you waited long enough someone would pick it up for 4500.

A Fair starting price would be 3500 imo.

Im Assuming the interior is as clean as the exterior looks in the picture.

Interior is clean save for the back seat that is is cloth and has tears. I took it out and haven't had a chance to recover it or replace it.

I was thinking the same in regard to price so the confirmation is nice. The Ronals and tires are just a year old and the seats are great condition. Either that or sell it for $3,500 and put the old seats in and the bottle caps back on and sell the sport seats and Ronals/tires separately.

Oooohhh I am very interested in that car. I work for McMillin and have a retail project up in Visalia. I will be up there on June 14th so I might like to come look at the car. Would you be available?

Well if you bring you M3 sedan, I may have a buyer for it and you can then drive my 325 home. A friend of a friend is looking for a 4 door M3 here. I'll send him your ad info and see if he's interested.

That would be quite a coincidence if this all worked out. Of course I'm now bumping the price to $5,500 to include my finder's fee! ;)

Very interesting... We should definately meet up in chat. I generally fly on the company plane up there but I guess I could maybe drive it up. Just send me the info and he and I can chat. This might work for me too. My buddy has a 02 M3 SMG that is will sell me for the price the dealer is offering as a trade in... HAHAHAH

I sent the info from your "for sale" post. I'm sure he'll pass it along. I'm picking up a 98 M3 sedan on Friday that I bought locally and when he found out he told me that his friend will be bummed he missed it - apparently he's been looking.
