did you get this moisture after re-siliconing the inner glass lenses into place? if you did, then just bare with the moisture for a while,,, it will dry up eventually and go away...

If you got to Pay Less shoes, or some other cheep shoe store you can just jack some of those silica packs for free... Or you could just wait it out like Pika suggested, but where is the fun in that...:D

Try turning on the high beam for a few minutes. I think the heat generated will be enough to evaporate any moisture.

Why was this moved to E36? M3 owners have ellipsoids too.

Since this bimmerforums has two distinct categories for E36 and E36 M3's I would expect that threads in each forum apply only to models of that forum. I think I speak for a large number of M3 owners (maybe not), but I do not read the E36 forum. Good information is being lost along the way by moving threads around.

This goes both ways, there have been threads that have been moved from General to M3 that non M3 E36 owners could have benefited from also. Too many forums? Too many moved threads? A lot of good info is getting lost in the shuffle. Personally I think this thread was fine in General Discussion.

Sorry for the OT.

Yes.. but M3s are also E36.. Ellipsoids are not M3 spec items

Exactly my point, they are neither M3 nor E36 specific, so this thread would be better suited in the general discussion forum.

As for the jackass comment, wtf is your problem? I didn't realize that having an opinion that differed from yours warranted being called a jackass. Totally unnecessary and in poor taste.

Mine fogged and I popped the bulb cover loose on the back and pointed a hair dryer in there for about 5 minutes and it was all gone.

Yeah, but people with E46, E38, E39, etc. could care less about E36 problems.

If you don't read the E36 forum... you are missing out on valuable information because your car is in fact an E36 and this is an E36 problem... not specific to M3s.
