Me(Porsche Carrera) -VS- Some Sport bike.. and some civic fun

So I got to drive a Porsche Carrera today... I am on the freeway when a bike that has been hanging behind me gets to the side of me then just blasts off...

I downshift and catch up to him a few seconds later and then he keeps going until about 120mph when he lets off... He didnt pull on me at all.. before anyone asks I have NO CLUE about anything about the bike other then the fact it was part blue :12:

Then I am going on the street from a stop.. a civic has turned out from a side street and is about to get in my lane in front of me when i go and redline 1st.. ahh.. the sound of a porsche engine at redline.. the civic jumps back over to his lane from the part of the lane he was taking of mine.. I just started laughing my ass off at this...

Prolly not very exciting reading this.. I am just excited because I got to drive a carrera :boobies so uNF.. :boink

How did the Porsche feel compared to your Bimmer? I'm curious to compare your impressions to mine.

the handling/power made me feel silly.

My M3 still feels nice but sheeesh....

I thought the porsche would have a harsh ride.. but it was surprisingly very smooth... I didnt see some railroad tracks so I hit them at about 40mph I clinched up because I thought it was going to be hard.. and it went over them like a mercedes

the lack of understeer that comes with bmws was nice..

the noise at redline.. like its going to swallow up whatever the hells in front of it is cool.. and it was good enough to scare a civic driver out of the way (STILL laughing over that)

the pickup on the freeway is pretty good.. as the bike saw.. but its not like an LS1 Z28 can be (obviously the newer z28s have more power then the 95 porsche I drove)

the interior and exterior seemed a little dated.. I honestly when I first got in thought I could be in a late 80s or early 90s porsche.. the newest porsches are alot different in that aspect

the sunroof is ALOT larger/wider then in my car... and for some reason the air flows in the car from outside alot better with the windows down

it holds the road and handles very good

1/2 the people in the cars around me would be staring at me when I stopped at lights or traffic

Overall its a cool car.. I think I might grow a little tired of it if I had to drive it everywhere as my only car because of the noise but its definitly made me think about getting one later on
