Rebuilt my calipers and flushed the brake lines today. What is the best way to test the pad wear sensors? Is it a simple open closed circuit or is there a preset resistance? I must'v jogged one loose when reassembling. Also, I am well aware of the condition of my pads. I would rather short the sensor at the plug and not have to worry about it. Is this OK to do?

It's just a closed circuit. When I did my brakes the fronts were missing the sensor. I just took the sensor, that goes in the calipepr, and cut the old wear pad off. I then stripped the wires and connected them together to close the circuit. It's a quick fix until you can get a new wear sensor.
