SHITTTTTYYYYY, to say the least. I ran them on my '92 325i back in the day. They were wrapped around 17" Antera's. They were my beater tires from Discount Tire Co. until I had enough money for better ones. I had four blowouts with them. They knew me by my first name I came in so much. Only reason I repeately put them back on is because I bought the "free replacement warranty" on them.

$62.50 each a good price? 235/40/hr17 blowouts going how fast? from road debris or just from driving?

I would not put them on a performance car.

That said, I run them on my '85 325e and the grip is fine, the treadwear is excellent, and the price was just right. It's a daily driver, so I drive it pretty conservatively...every cent I save on gas in the 325e gets spent on gas in the M Coupe :).

But on an M3 they are a definite no-no.

Look into the Toyo Proxes T1-S. I'm running them on my Coupe right now and love 'em.

why? would the m3 explode if it had a cheap tire on it?

=)

cheap tires are great. they are cheap, and let you explore the limits at sane speeds :)
