View Full Version : possible to get M3/4 w/ 3 spoke wheel?
I am starting to shop for a 98 M3 Sedan. Did they ever put the 3 spoke steering wheel in this cars?

The 3-spoke M steering wheel was only put in '99 and some late model '98s. Since they canned the sedan after 98, it'll be hard to find... but in short, yes they do exist.

No, BMW jammed the proverbial stake through the M3/4's heart in April, 1998, due to the fact it was ripping off sales from the 540i. The three spoke came after that, at least I think so. I've never seen a factory M3/4 with this wheel (and looked at quite a few cars), nor have I heard of one.
