I don't care what anybody else says... BMWs look awesome at speed. Yesterday I was lucky enough to participate in one of the transports from dealer to dealer which worked out to about 150 miles w/ about 20 cars. On more than one occasion to see almost every model BMW travelling at speed, gaining on me like I am a poor gazelle being hunted by a hungry Cheetah. When they are at speed and hunkered down coming up behind you in the rear view mirror... they just look awesome.

Oh... and the 645Ci Convertible is an awesome car... :woot:

The ultimate drive is one sweet deal.

I often have to play it up pretty hard to get a test drive with a salesman "chaperone".
In the ultimate drive, they practically begged me to drive 3 new cars, including a new 5, completely solo for 15 minutes at a whack.
Not to mention it's for a good cause, and you get a free lunch out of the deal.
My only regret is that being <25 kept me from driving the 645 :(

Yep. It's rare I ever see my car moving as I don't let others drive it.. but today somebody else moved it for me and I was surprised how much better it looks in motion.

Haha, I do that too! Its the same reason I like when other people keep thier black cars really clean, because I can see my car in the reflection :-)

wow. you guys have no idea how relieved I am that I am not the only one who does that with glass buildings. Ive nearly lost track of where I am because Ive been so mesmerized by the movement of my wheels. I thought i was crazy. I really did.

pics pics pics :DI've wondered the same thing. I would absolutely love to help transport them, just for the driving time. From what I've heard, they sometimes contact BMWCCA Chapters to recruit drivers.

i do the glass thing too, mezmorizing (sp?) the best one was when a truck transporting huge mirrors was driving by me on the highway, i drove next to him for about 15 or so minutes just looking at my car, accelerating and such, needless to say i missed my exit :help

I agree. I've rarely seen my car being driven, but it looks insane driving past you (esp when you give the signal for them to go WOT)
