Does anyone know why my drivers side lamps would be lit up. I went out to lunch today - and when I left work at 7 PM the angel eye parking lamps were on - only on the drivers side? Is this a wiring issue - or some alarm system signal??
Please - anyone know about this ?
Thanks

when you park your car, if you have your turn signal on to the left or right, the side lights for that side will stay on, at least they do on my e46.
I think its for when parking on a narrow street in a city at night (as one may in europe) for visability, they also have parking lights which we do not have. I've contemplated using them before when parking near a blind curve at night, but i dunno how fast it will exhaust the battery.
does that help? i dont know why the angel eyes would be on if they were though.

I wish my E36 had this feature... I think it's great to make your car a lot more visible when it's parked.

i dont know why the angel eyes would be on if they were though. on the 2001+ e39 (with OEM angel eyes) the angel eyes are the parking lights.

They should have it for euro-spec 3 series E36. My E36 in indo has that feature.
After you park and you hit the high beam flash switch the headlight will stay on for a while too.

That's good to know... How did you activate it? A couple friends told me I should had it too, maybe I have it but it just doesn't work...
