Remus Exhaust???

Friends, Romans, dAs....does anyone have any input on the remus exhaust? Good, bad, ugly? How is the note? I just thought I might ask one way or the other.

The fellow that sold me the trim (looks good) is gettin rid of a fairly new Remus....thought it may be worth a pick up?

It is for an E46....should be pretty close tho?

Most of the E46 stuff is just a new muffler so with 2 stock resonators most don't see much power gains or change in tone. The only true cat backs I know of for the E46 are the Borla, Super Sprint (if you buy all the bits) and UUC.

I have the Borla, and with just the cat back it was still pretty quiet. I've heard clips of the UUC and it is a good bit louder.

Not sure I want anything loud or the like...I bought some black exhaust tips and they did not fit. I must have a POS aftermarket. It looks hid-E-ous...

Teh rem looks good (chrome) and should bolt right on. What the hay? May as well. I did not thin it would improve my HP or perf much - if at all.

dA....I have a set of brand spanking new black exhaust tips (BMW) if anyone likes that look.... :eek: (see above) They no fit....

Come to a meet and listen to my Borla if you like. It is louder then it was as I've added the Spuer Sprint headers and cats, but the tone is the same.

With out the extra bits the Borla was not much louder then stock, but with a deeper tone.

Car has Super Sprint headers + cats, Borla cat back, pulleys, coils, shocks, springs, sway bars, strut bars, intake, motor and tranny software, 4.10 LSD rear end, etc. etc. etc.

It is pretty much done.
