damn..there goes my reputation, htat stuff was quite a bit stronger than anything like it ive had before. Casa Rondena rules.

There original meaning of the post though, I was reading about this 450 horse dinan 353

45o horses?

I dont hink so. TCD is using a more modern approach and they are proabbly putting 400 crank...I cant see Dinan ever pushing HP that hard, they are too consertvative

I almost dont have the heart to edit lasts nights gibberish..wtf was I trying to say, its pathetic..i never drink

hahahahhahhaahahhha.....anyways.....dinan had a turbo 535 as far as i know and it only put about 330 to the wheels. the technology was lacking and it was just a bolt on kit. They also did one for the 4.0 and 4.4 liter engine (although i dont know if they ever made it to production) thta made something over 500 rwhp for both models. i dont think dinan is realkly the company to go with for FI.

I dont htink so either, I drove a dinan 325is e30 that was bleh until 4500 then uncontrollable wheelspin, of course turbo technology has come a long, long way since then

Dinan is still the company to go to for S/C BMWs and still have a somewhat warrenty. And in Cali they are the only CARB playa in town.Of course, you pay more and there are alot of new comers who always nip at the heels of the one's that started it all.

Actualy, some of the later models recived a built stroker motor with 3.7L and 8:1 compression. My friend's dad has one and i would give it credit for at least 400hp.
