Anyone making good numbers with this exhaust manifold?

I believe Technique Tuning uses this manifold for their kit. Maybe you can hit them up for more info? They are also in Florida.

EMC has also used the Turbonetics manifold, 400whp at ~8psi. Vic at Siastuning.com has
also tuned a local turbo M3 using the Turbonetics manifold to well over 400whp. Seems
like it works well. It is a T3 flange, meaning making 730whp like ICS and Siastuning.com
did recently may be a stretch.

I'm actually running an AA manifold (The only AA part on my car).
GUC32's car is running a Turbonetics manifold on the kit that I built. I'm sure that he's making well over 400rwhp with it....probably over 500rwhp at the boost levels he's now running. He hit 400rwhp around 10psi....now he's runnin 18 or 19psi.

The ICS car Vic Programed has a Boostlogic header T4 flange.

Yes i did not have any problems making 400rwhp. But like Eric said, im probably in the 500rwhp range now with the boost im running. This is on 91 octane and would most likely make more on better gas.

I'm still amazed at the F/I cars you're tuning with the OBD1 stck DME and software upgrade. ;) Amazing George.

how do you like the AA manifold?? also compared to other manifolds in terms of quality, fitment & what not?

It fits real well and has made over 600rwhp for us (ICS). The turbonetics manifold needs a hole to be bored for a flange fitment for the external wastegate piping, also need to grind out the inside where the pair of runners meet to get an even flow to the new wastegate port. Both work well. :)

Thanks guys this has been very very helpful and my turbonetics manifold has a wastegate flange but small hole im going to get the hole changed to fit my 44mm wastegate.

What do you guys think about coating it??

Also should i have the inside of it snad blasted or somthing to clean it up some??

i think ceramic coating & extrude honing would be a nice improvement

Extrude honing works well, but.... 2 things to keep in mind, boost is boost, but flows better cleaned up, the second is it may take away too much material and weaken the manifold, and possible failure down the road.

What turbo is he using, b/c on the 35r ive seen as much as 447rwhp on 10 psi.

Im using a T3/60-1 HiFi. Remember im on 91 octane too and cant have as much timing as 93 octane.

How much timing would it be when you compare both octanes?

Yeah im using the 35r with the divergiant cone , and im in florida so i get 93 at the pumps. I think that there should be tuning section added to this site. ohh and it will be all ran off of a tec 3 with fully built motor only thing stock will be cams and crank
