View Full Version : Can anyone tell me why the rear oem e46 wheels wont work for e36?

is it the width? tire size? offset?

I believe the fronts are ok, but the offset on the rears don't work.

as for a way around it, you can look here......you have to use the 8" fronts all the way around.

Well, E46 non-M wheels will work, but yes, in order to have 4 factory M3 wheels from an E46 M3 they must all be fronts all around, the rears offset is not correct for the E36

Simple, its the offset. No, there is no way around it.

i love my replica's but they are slightly different than the real m3 rim cause it curves inward and has a lip. but for $500 without a scratch on em and with tires, how could i say no?
