My mechanic recommended changing the "Guibo". What is it? How do I know it needs to be replaced? Is it a easy DIY? It sounds like a Star Wars character. Help

It's also known as the 'Flex Disc'. If you do a search, you'll probably get more info using that term.

it's a round rubber disk that connects the driveshaft to the trans. they have a tendency to cause a vibration when they go bad and are kind of a pita to change because you have to drop the exhaust.

It's not that-that bad.. but it does take some time. :)

changing the actual guibo is easy, removing all the shit you have to, to get at it is the pita, imo.
