I'm going around 40 mph down a side street behind the mall. Its about 9:00 in the evening. I have my fogs on. Nice long stretch of curvy roads. :^) When I see a brand new fifth generation Prelude about 1/4 mile ahead of me. The guy is turning right but he seems to take an absurdly amount of time to take his turn. He waits until I'm in back of him. I'm waiting. I look to see if there is any traffic there is none. he is still waiting. He finally turns to the right and floors it. Fart can buzzing....

I quickly gave chase. I match his speed easily then slow up because the stop light turns red. We are at a stop light. I gave the guy a 1/2 a car lenghth lead. Anyone who remembered my last kill story remembered I lost to a 4th generation because of mishift. Still kicking myself.

I'm waiting at light. He's reving. Still waiting. Light turns green. I'm looking over at him to see if he guns it. He does. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, No contest. I had about 3 car lenghth lead. I put on the brakes and he flys past me and then turns right. No wonder you guys were getting on me for losing to the lude. (due to driver error). Thanks Rel44 for advice on that UUC tranny mount enforcer. :buttrock

They replace the transmission mounts with sturdier ones that don't flex as much, especially during hard turns. Keeps the transmission from moving around, which would make getting into gear difficult. Check out UUC (http://www.uucmotorwerks.com) for more info.

you get more HP and Torque from them:D:D

OK, ok, I'm just kidding. They actually do help "apply" torque but don't increase the numbers. Theoretically, they improve your performance during shifts, which of course, improves your racing technique. There is a current thread on their value in the M3 forum.
