Those of you who have gotten a loan for a used auto in CA.

The car is 17, im giving 2k to the owner so i need a loan for 15k but how much should i expect for registration tax etc??????? should i take out more than 15k? If so how much more?

tax is the usual sales tax on the amount of purchase, about $50 for dmv fees and registration fees if the tags are going to expire in the new couple months. don't forget a smog cert.
