Double locking

I have the door panels off to paint my lux handles and I'm also going to fix my not double locking driver door.

After getting the panel off I notice a cable dangling towards the top right side close to the lock pin.

What is this cable for.

What else should i look for to fix this?

did you have airbags? I tried to take my panel off and it would not come off... I did not try to hard... but just wondering if you know anything?

nope no airbags.

step 1) remove screw covers under pull handles

step 2) remove screws

step 3) remove door latch handle trim (slids towards the front of the car, Push hard)

step 4) pull the panel off. i read somewhere to start at the bottom but i found it easier to start at the top towards the lock pin. I just slid my fingers up under the panel until i could feel or see the pin and would pull right there.

The trick to getting the non-air bag door panel off is find the plastic parts that hold the locking pins and pull from that.

Don't just grab anywhere and pull because you'll rip the plastic (lockpin holders) away from the door panel.

You have to pull real hard though
