I got my hands on a new Pertronix Flamethrower coil that I'd like to put in my 85' 635, but I have 2 questions before I do it.
Will replacing the stock coil with a "hotter" one cause any problems at the ECU?
Can I even use this coil? It is a 1.5 ohm coil, but in the specs it says 4 and 6 cylinder engines use the 3.0 ohm coil and V8's use the 1.5 ohm coil, unless it's a racing application, in which the 1.5 can be used for all...
What the hell does this all mean???!!!
