i'd like to upgrade my rims....possibly to a 17" (polished or chrome)...
the original rims are nice, but they r getting on in age, and are a pain to clean...in fact...the last time they were actually clean was probably in the dealership.
any suggestions....including where to buy (in the UK of course).

Ebay is the cheapest often.

You should try Meguiare's wheel cleaner. Works miracles on our wheels. Spray on, wash off. Clean as the day they rolled off the showroom floor.

will this get rid of the years of ground in brake dust etc etc......this honeycombe design is great to look at, but the worst when it comes to keeping it clean. its got too many nooks and crannys for dirt etc to get into.

Its virtually impossible to get your wheels chromed in the UK-i've tried(very hard)in the past!
There are excellent polished 18" M Parallel replica wheels availiable in the UK just now-I've never seen them on an E32,but would imagine they would suit it well-anyone seen them on an E32?
