I have a question, i have a pretty nice 325i that ive been working on for some time now, but im feeling that its time to move on...
i have a question tho: i could probably get like a nice 328is about now, or in a few months, or wait even longer, as in a couple years...for an e36 m3. (i just dont have a whole lot of money)
would you guys stick with my 325? which at this point is just getting frustrating after some bum problems, get the 328 now and start making it my project car, or wait for a while...long....while, and start work on an m3?
i mean i know the ///m but im impatient and think that a 328 could be pretty fun if modded sweet.
thanks

Buy the 328 mod it up w/ stuff you can put on the M when you get it. When you can get the M put the 328 back to stock and keep the upgrades for the M.

Or...just get a loan and buy the M and keep it stock and sweet.

If you already have a nice 325 I say just hold onto that till you can get the M3. No use startin all over again twice.

Decide what you REALLY want first...

Now, I know it is the M. Keep the 325, don't dump any more money into mods, work hard, save up, and get your car. Simple as that. If you get the 328 you'll always want the M.

Why ask a question like this? Get the M of course because your just going to end up spending more to get a stock M3 specs. I say get a 95 M3 or if you dont want to get a M get a 325is.

Although the 328is is LOADS of fun, it's true that once you have it, you'll still long for an M car's abilities. I say look for a nice M3 with some miles on it and get that baby cheap (very possible).

keep 325, wait for m3.

Big steps are always more satisfying than small ones.

Also, if you buy the 328, youll always compae to m3, and end up selling it anyway - so really you get hit with depreciation twice. Keep the 325 - hassle free, a car you already know.

Also, the longer you wait and save up for an M3, the more the prices will drop. If you wait another 12-18 months, I'm sure prices will have dropped quite a bit thanks to the release of the E90.

yea im with him

Buy the M all they do theyre racking up miles while youre waiting i have to wait just a few more months before its my time to buy but i think its gonna be worth it i love working on cars and stuff like that and i think the M will be perfect for me and i think you would think so too for yourself

good luck and post pics when you get it :)

I love my 328is, but I got it cause insurance is much cheaper for 328 than a M3 especially when your 17 and with just couple of mods you can be just as fast as an S50 M3 and with more money maybe as fast as a S52, but if insurance and money is not an issue then I would go with an M. But as my opinion, I like the 328is "AKA poor mans ///M3" :D . They are fun cars and the M52 is a great motor, just let it breathe with some mods and it will treat you back with giggles as you shift gear after gear.

Good luck with finding a car

Keep your car and do not mod it.

Save up for the E36 because IT WILL KILL YOUR POCKETS.

BMW = Breaking My Wallet.

Trust me, it gets pricy.

Good luck!
