WTB: radio/CD head unit from Z3 or M Coupe

I am looking for a CD unit able to control a CD changer as well. Will pay top dollar for a unit in excellent condition with the security codes.

I am in the same boat. I have been looking for this unit for about a year now. You can purchase the unit brand new from pacificbmw.com for $568 + shipping... I want the cd player but not sure if I want to spend that much for one if you know what I mean....

You said you would spend top dollar though :)

would the business radio and 6 cd changer from a 98 M3 work for you. I have one for sale.

If you do a search for "bmw business cd" you'll always find one or two. I tried to bid but it got a little too rich for my blood. In my opinion $300 is too much for this unit, $200 just right.

By all means, go and bid if you are prepared to pay top dollar.

Unfortunately the only cd that will work on the E36 is the cd from the Z3. The E46 cd player is to wide. I have been searching ebay for 9 months now, and the only thing that seems to come up is the E46 cd players.......

No Z3 cd players :(
