I got a set of depo headlights for E34. The wiring in the car has a different connector then depo, so it doesnt plug in. BTW, in the auction it mentioned that it only fits 89-90 E34. Can anybody give me a part number perhaps? I'll hardwire it temporarily

oh, and I almost forgot - there's an extra connector on the top of one of the lenses. What is it for? maybe i'll wire the turn signal there.

this should help (the site is down, but this is the cached version): http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:VOuBLNtzYrEJ:e30m3therealm3.com/e34/+e34+touring+ellipsoids&hl=en
the sockets on the top are the city lights. outside of north america, the city lights are the parking lights. so the corner lights are only used to signal.

I got mine for $150 actually. Could they possibly need euro sockets? Or maybe there's a difference in harnesses among E34s

the sockets are completely different between us and euro spec. you might be able to use the pnp connectors from umnitza that are usually used for e36 ellipsoids. but the site i posted earlier should tell you what parts you need if you go to the dealer and rewire the sockets.

Mine came with wiring harnesses and adapters that were pretty much plug and play, with a few little modifications.
Rob gave me these two sites when I first got mine in, and they were a big help. They give you some part #'s and other tips.

Here are the part #'s.
LOW BEAMS: (Need Two H1 Bulbs)
Low Beam Caps: 63-12-1-378-333, 2 needed- ($18.50/ each)
Yellow Connector Terminal Plugs: 61-13-1-378-419, 2 needed- ($1.45/ each)
Wiring Cables: 61-13-0-007-445, 4 needed- ($3.00/ each)
HIGH BEAMS: (Need Two H1 Bulbs)
High Beam Caps: 63-12-1-378-367, 2 needed- ($18.50/ each)
White Terminal Plug Connectors: 61-13-1-378-417, 2 needed- ($1.45/ each)
Wiring Cables: 61-13-0-007-445, 4 needed- ($3.00/ each)
Mine came with the high and low beam caps, and yours probably did too. You will only need the plug connectors (optional) and wiring cables (unless you bought your own). Parts cost me like $10 total. Also, I found that the rings around the headlights are not sealed completely, and they leaked around the city lights. I just took some apoxy, and sealed up the area between the chrome rings and headlight lens, and there is no more leakage.
