Ive got a 98 323 is. Put my intake and my shark injector software on two days ago. All going well. Getting up on the interstate all of a sudden rev limiter kicks in at stock rpm. Check engine light comes on and starts running not on all cylinders. Check my codes misfire cylinder 6. Swap coils still misfire cylinder 6. Plugs also good. whats next? I hear either fuel injector or bent valve. Any ideas?? Only car is down need quick help. Would the software i installed have anything to do with this?

Worse case scenario-bent valve...
Should I?
-Titanium valvetrain?
-New stock m52 head?
-s52 head?? Does it bolt up?
-could i have damaged a piston? engine replacement stock m52 or somethign else?

So many choices want the easiest and most cost effective way to fix this or find the problem. Help me please!!??

So the CEL came on around 6.5k right? Yes, if all the basics check out.. somethings inside the motor might have come in contact with each other. Have a diagnostics done by a qualified shop to find out what the problem is. I know if it requires pulling the head, it'll be over $2k+... NOT worth it with that motor if you ask me, when there are much better options out there, such as this:

Also AFAIK.. the M52 and S52 heads are identical.

hitting the rev limiter shouldn't cause valve float the valvetrain is good to 7K right?
