True, however, he was driving semi-drunk in the rain with bald tires, I was just cruising.

2 things:

1. I am from Michigan and can out drive 90% of people on this site...and, it's my first crash ever. I drive super F-n' fast all the time and sometimes Sh-t just happens man...

2. I'm 26... Financial Analyst for a Phamaceutical company. I own a beutiful 2,400sqft, 4bd house w/ a pool. AND NO, no one has ever given me crap EVER!. I worked my way from the very bottom. my fist car was a 66 CJ- 5. I had to rebuild the engine in zero degree weather so I could have a vehicle. We were poor as crap and burnt wood to keep warm in the winter. So step back. I am sorry you don't have a M3, maybe someday when you grow up and work hard you will get one. :kiss

and you are blaming the 4 spoke steering wheel for not being able to correct fast enough :nono

A year ago i wrecked in the rain from inexperienced driving in the snow (and not being a great driver than, not that im great now) But after my wreck, i started taking actual driving courses, you know what they are? Id suggest calling and getting as many days as you can, and maybe shot for driving drunk, and at that in an M??

Just thought I'd share a funny story. You all act like it was your M3. BTW Do you know what I'm getting out of this?.. The whole car repainted, new front/rear bumber, dents taken out that where there before, new shock mounts, new winshield, replaced headlamps w/ euro glass & angels, smoked our rear tail lights, clear corners all new trim..Oh, and new 18's with 245/35/18 all the way around wraped in Dunlop super sport racers. Who's the dumb ass now?

Well you realize you'll never get what your car is worth if you go to sell it because of this? Your car may not handle the same if the body shop didnt fix it right.

Wait what am i saying, i need to go get drunk, and drive in the rain and play around at 60mph, and than blame the 4spoke when i wreck. I can already think of it, eh, i had a turbo but it all fell off when i hit the tree. So yea, just throw on an aa stg 2 kit and we will call it even, plus my race tuned suspension fell off and my stock went back on, so fix that, and my BBK, cant forget that.

Hey JW///AZ,
I'll walk way out on a limb here, having done similar damage on a wet track w/ an instructor in the car when my good judgement temporarily lapsed a few years back. My repair bill approached $15,000 because only the shorter structural element in fender was deformed; no frame-rail damage. New radiator, steering rack, hood, control arms, fenders, bumper shocks...an entensive list to a superb repair. I didn't involve insurance company.
Looking forward to the after pics.

There seem to be a lot of these...umm.."drivers" who go out half drunk, or fully drunk...and then blame the car. Then...in their defense...they state that they can outdrive God himself at any speed....

Bleah...you got what you deserved...good thing you didnt kill anyone. The car is just a car

If you tring to brag about how good of a driver you are, why would you say "i go super f'n fast". Thats "super immature". Somebody i knew was killed because of someone that drove "super f'n fast". If you wanna drive fast save it for a track or cliff, as long as you don't put someone else in danger. You should have a 318 instead of your M. You'd be doing everyone a favor and yourself. Maybe goto a driving school and learn some real techniques........then MAYBE you can brag about how you drive, until then......well look at the pic above ;)

Sry for the rant.......

Well, if one skillfully goes "sideways" and controls the car it's called drifting(note the skillfully part). There are some people that have amazing car control when the car is drifting, and I wouldn't really call them stupid.

Although endangering people on the road is pretty stupid when you're probably driving beyond your skills...

Just thought I'd point out that getting a large slip angle on the rear tires doesn't necessarily make a driver stupid, it's the overly aggressive driving in traffic conditions or the "showing off."
