I got the subframe out of the car, and all the stock bushing off the subframe.
Now; where do I put the metal washer that came with the powerflex subframe bushing ? On top or on the bottom ? One more question; where do I apply the oil/lubrication that came with the bushing ??

Thanks

The metal washer prevents the head of the bolt from tearing through the polyurethane. It should be on the outside right under the bolt head after it slips in.

so basically only the front part of the bushing require washer ?? For some reason my subframe bushing kit only came with 2 washer. I am going to take picture and post here in a few min.

Thanks

I think I might have install the washer backward, but I just want to be sure before I put the whole car together.
BTW should I have 4 of washers with my kit or only 2 washers ?

Some bushing kits use a washer on the top. The stud screws into the frame and has a nut that bottoms out against the car's underbody. If the hole in the washer is big enough for fit over this nut, then I think the washer goes on top ( and over this nut). Suggest you call James Clay. He will know for sure.

I wrote an email to powerflex and they told me that the subframe bushing kit should have 6 washers total. 4 washers goes on the front bushing, and 2 on the rear.
