Airbag Installation ??? Help???

My 89 535i came with an airbag. Recently hit a deer and the bag went off. Fixed all the damage to the car but still need to replace the wheel or airbag. Does anyone know if I need the computer and the airbag replaced or just the airbag replaced? Help would be great. Thanks guys

Disconnect the battery first!!

If you really like the car, get an MTech 2 steering wheel, screw the bag. It is not legal to remove the airbag however. Then again, who checks anyways.... You might be able to find a bag on ebay.

Do I have to replace any computers or sensors? Is it just the bag in the wheel ? Thanks
