So, this car is in excellent condition, is Titanium Silver/grey Leather interior with Premium, Cold Weather Pkgs, and Sport Pkg, Comfort seats, Fold down seats, rear electric sunshade, GPS, Premium Stereo, 36K miles for $31,000 USD.

Is this considered an excellent deal? and if I want to sell it three years later with 80K on it what do you think I could sell it for?

Sounds good to me. I paid 34K in mid sept. for one like you describe,and I still think it was a good deal.Look at it this way, you're paying just over half for a $60k car that ,depending on when it was built , still has full factory warranty. Original owner probably has had all problems with original build taken care of, saving you the hassle, and you still have time to wring it out and find anything else that may need attention. I would say with that mileage the cars life has only just begun. Jump on it!! Resale at this point is going to depend on what happens in the next few years with gas prices and whether or not it becomes politically incorrect to drive a powerful v8 engine around just for personal transport and enjoyment. Buy it now and enjoy it while you can!!! Plan on buying a new radiator soon ,though. Mine went out two days ago w/ only 41k mi. Go to 540i6.com, look at problems and fixes.
