My new-too-me '99 M3 has a terrific wind noise that seems to come from the passenger side window at speeds above 75 mph, getting progressively worse as speed increases. I have new sunroof and right door seals ordered, and the window seems to be in line similar to the driver's side one, is there anything else I need to check? All the "hockey pucks" are in place. I"m glad I discovered this forum, it has helped a bunch already. :help

Perhaps the weather stripping on the inside. I know mine is torn on my drivers side, and that causes wind noise on my drivers side. I need to replace mine but haven't gotten around to it. Check to see if there are any tears or splits. If thre are none, also check to see if some of the glue has given way underneath. I have had that happen on my old prelude. Found out going through an automatic car wash, water sprayed in at the bottom of my door. But to check for that, just lightly pull at different areas of your seal, and see if any pulls up, but don't jerk on it hard, otherwise you may cause the glue to not hold.

Mitch48- Do you remember the part number of the sunroof seal you ordered or where you got it?

I still have the sunroof seal in the bag, I'll check the number and post it here. I did find out the noise is coming from the rear window, not the door window, and I've put some weatherstripping against the glass to help. I'm going to get a new seal for this window and have it installed anyway.

you can adjust the door striker or catch. so it closes tighter and puts more pressure between the window and the weatherstriping. good luck
