i was late on my registration, kinda forgot, so dmv gave me one of those pink papers with a number on it, 2 months extention, i got a euro plate for now since my american plate expired in february, put it on the back, looks nice, but once i get my actual registration stickers in 2 months i gotta put the euro plate in the front, does anyone know where to get the bracket or is there one? i don't want to drill any holes in my moldings or my bumper, is that even possible? thanks in advance, btw can a cop give me a ticket right now for having the euro plate in the rear? even though i got one of those ugly registration number paper that i can show him, (its not on the back window)

Well in california euro plates are illegal to be displayed instead of the state plate on the front or the rear. But while you got the temporary sticker it should be ok to have it on the back but you must display the temp in your back window. In reality people either put euro plates on the front or do a licence plate delete like I have done. Both are asking for a ticket but thats a personal preference.
yea, i'm pretty sure its illegal to have a euro plate on front if the state requires front plate & on the rear is illegal all the time.
i drilled out two circles in my "BMW" middle section & put on the bracket. looks clean

yeah i will probably drill those little holes too in the BMW plastic and put it in that way.. thanks for idea, as far as legal issues, i think i'll be ok with it in the front, the rear is kinda asking for a ticket

I got a European Union plate off ebay for like 7 bucks and since my state doesn't require front plates, cops don't bother me.
They look nice and remind me of germany. :)
