Thanks! For some reason, these E30 pics look familiar...I just dont recall where Ive seen them before....It looks like theyve got the piping from the discharge end of the SC going down to the drivers' side of the core, passing through the core, and exiting the passenger side, where it retraces its intake piping path exiting in the engine compartment, and there it ends with what looks like blue tissue wrapping! Extrapolating, just another short lengh of pipe from there to the TB should finish it up. We dont know whether this will fit in the E36 though. And note the custom tabs off the piping where they attach it to the frame near the core. Very cool, but again, what about the E36?

I think that red E30 is the BMP car

Right...BMP...that's where we've seen it. Thanks for remembering. I still find it kind of odd that there's only one recognized intercooler/aftercooler custom made to fit our E36s. I guess we're still much too small a market to worry about. Just remember what happened to Dinan when they attempted to design an intercooler to retrofit to his existing SC kits out there....IT failed! IT was chronicled in some depth in Bimmer magazine, over two issues. The net result was that overheating swamped the project, and the only salvation was the plumbing had to be so radically altered that it made a retrofit all but impossible. So far as I know, the only way it can be done is in their facility, for mucho mucho dinero. Or you can buy one of these monsters in the form of the ISR3 roadster, for something like $75K!
