Just wanted to give an update to the m3 mirrors (for both e36 and e46 2/4dr) group purchase update. If you haven’t heard, I’m trying to get a GP together with rep. at Blitz. They’re unpainted replica mirrors (aka you being responsible of having it painted) but supposedly of very good quality. They’re definitely powered (electric) and from the guy’s second reply (read below) they’re heated as well. Original GP price was $189 for a set of two…talked him down to getting 5% off of that for 15+, which we have for sure now...we’re at 21 people and counting!, so now the price is down to $180.
If you want in…PLEASE EMAIL ME at SAEED@UCSD.EDU with your name and car model (year and make…2/4dr). It’s hard to keep a neat and clean list if there’s chunks of missing info. Do not respond to this thread…it’s annoying having to check every forum to see if anyone posted saying that they’re in. I’ve also been getting a lot of emails saying “I’m interested in the GP…please lemme know more info.” (talk about REALLY annoying!) I really don’t HAVE anymore info. There really isn’t anything else to know except for ordering procedures which have yet to be given to me. I’ll email everyone or post as soon as I get additional info. I’ve emailed the guy a couple of times…and here are the responses I’ve gotten…he seems like an honest guy. If you have any questions, again, email me! Take it easy all and let me know if you’re in.

They are power(electric) and unfortunately I can not verify at this time if they are heated although I'm almost sure that they are. I could verify that for you on monday. I dont know what kind of mirror it is that was in the pictures you send links to (side comment by Seedster: I sent him this link: <a http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=583521211&r=0&t=0 and asked him if they look the same…cuz these were the ones bought in the last GP and people seemed perty happy with em…sorta I guess). However I'm sure that you will be very satisfied with the quality of ours. They are widely used in Germany due to their quality and affordability.
