I'm organizing a group purchase for Stoptech Big Brake Kit for E46 (sedan, coupe, convert), non-M3.
The big brake kit comes with:
-red calipers because they are in stock.
-a pair of cross drilled/slotted rotors 13"
-Stoptech 4 pistons calipers same specs as 993 TT big reds.
-axiss brake pads.
-optional rear lines will be included since I figured almost everyone would want it (valued at $65/pair)
The retail price for the kit excluding the rear lines is $1995.
I'm trying to get the price at $1750 shipped, but I need at least 5 buyers, since I'm getting 1, that leaves 4 people.
More info can be found on stoptech's website.

Please PM me if you any questions.

Question, can this kit fit on stock 330Ci sport package wheels M68's?

Also, how much is installation for these?

Thanks,
Neal

I'm not sure if it will fit.
The brakes require the same clearance as brembo's kit, it supposedly requires a minimum of 17" wheels with +38offset, I'm pretty sure the M68 is +43 offset but I could be wrong.
Stoptech has a wheel fitment guide on their website, so you might want to print it and compare it to the inside of your wheel just to make sure.
Installation will probably take 2 hours or less possibly, and of course labor rates will depend on where you take it to be installed.

they dont make a non M fitment.. I tried that too when i was looking. UUC kit bro.. its the best deal for the 32x cars. Unless u can find a set of M3 spindles.. i tried that too but they're hard to come by used. Too pricey new.

I know most of our stopping power is from our front brakes, do people usually get rear ones too.

As far as labor charge. I just don't know what the going rate is, is it more than a standard brake job?

Thanks,

Neal

For most applications, upgrading the front brakes is enough, of course it is recommended to upgrade the rears with cross drilled/slotted rotors, better pads and stainless lines.
As for labor charge, it doesn't depend on the type of job.
