You mean M3 vs. 325/8? I wasnt sure, but I thought I read the quality of leather was higher in the M3 vs. other e36's. I really don't care though, as long as it looks and feels the same.

not higher but optional.

bmw is weird when it comes to what is installed in our cars. my car was shipped with NAPA leather while others had montana etc.

I sold my dove grey napa interior (with rear headrests ;)) for a black leather interior that turned out to be montana. I miss the napa (softer) but some non-M e36s were shipped with different interiors.

what are you looking to pay for a set? I contacted KO Performance and they quoted me a kick butt price on black rear headrests. I believe the two types of leather were comparable in price.
