I noticed RealOEM.com went off line yesterday, but I just thought it was me or my connection. It was fine on Saturday. I wonder what happened? I hope it will go back online soon... :dunno

Anyway, don't pay anyone for that ETK/TIS software! It's all pirated, and you don't want to go supporting those hacks. Even the one page instruction sheet has been copied and copied for generations and looks like crap too. :nono

The software isn't that good and is difficult to work with, but can be helpful.

That's bullshit.

The ETK/TIS is a valuable resource to us BMW owners. Pirated or not, so long as it in not infected with malware or viruses then theres no problem with it.

The software is extremely easy to work with and is a great tool. The actual CD based ETK is far better than RealOEM.com was anyways, and I use my ETK very often.

If you want the ETK get it.

:bawling ...I guess I have to start going back to the dealership to find parts (the guys around here can't seem to find a part worth a damn)

Just because you're incapable of using ETK/TIS and the other goodies that come with them, does not mean that its not a valuable tool for the rest of us. Probably the best $10 I've spent on my M3 :D

What do I have to do to get pricing in US$ to show up on my ETK?

Good question.
Don't think you can unless you're a dealer.
I could be wrong though.

realoem.com has pricing, but given the fluctuation of the dollar would be somewhat inaccurate.
Best thing to do is get the part # and then call a dealer or search a vendor site.

sweet it works today, although it says under construction right at the beginning. :redspot I have the ETK but for some reason the realoem site seems quicker sometimes for looking stuff up for around the forums.....
