Thought I'd mention it here since some people don't visit the Parts sale forum....

These are pretty rare...

I agree with you, but these seats are VERY rare. It's kind of like trying to find an LTW Spoiler...

It took me a long time to find these seats...

BorisHow about if I put an M3 front and rear bumper, sidesirts, mirrors, exhaust, cams, seats, Contours, valve Cover, badge, and lighted shift knob on? :D Dude, I'nm not trying to be a d*ck, but if people see this post, then pretty soon everyone will be doing it. It's bad enough with all the dumbass posts pushing vauable topics off the board. Good luck on your sale, if they are that rare, I'm sure they'll sell quick?

If you got all that... I'd notice very quickly your brakes, rear controls arms, VIN, etc. There are so many ways to tell a fake M3... I hate posers. I'd rather just see a nice clean debaged 3-series... :stickoutt

BTW Boris, do people always say to you "Now I get Moose and Squirrel"? ;)

Only in my highschool days. I used to get Natasha jokes a lot also... but those days are LOOONNGGG gone :cool

Boris

P.S. Sorry for polluting the precious forum ;)

Funny, i didn't see a MODERATOR tag underneath HELLROT'S name... :dunno Maybe I missed it?? Worry bout yourself buddy, he's doing no harm here.

Sure he's trying to help his sale, but he's also trying to bring attention to a very rare FS item.

Boris Yeah...ouch...this from a guy who said "yeah uhmm, of course blown HG causes oil loss!! but he doesn't have that, obviously, he would know very quickly cuz oil would be all over the place..." Can't get enough of that kind of wisdom :rolleyes Boris, it's all good. Hell, every post I make I give you a bump. But I'll say it again, these forums are no place for "for sale" pointers.

Seats are awesome but they are also significantly damaged. Perhaps if they were unmolested they would sell more easily. The funny thing about very rare items is they only appeal to very few people.....

How much did you have to pay for them?

Yeah Hellrot, I was going to refrain but... stop giving advice on the M boards, who the hell wants advice from somone who doesn't even seem to realize the difference between an M3's RTA's and his 325!!! Seriously man you just come off like a know it all and the one time you tried to give me advice you had no clue what you were talking about....
I am not saying you don't belong here, but I personally would be reluctant to troll around on say the e46 M3 board spouting random pieces of advice when I don't even have an e46!!!! capisci??

My only advice in this post is it is not for pointing to classifieds, which it is not. As far as the advice I have given you in the past....I have nver given you any advice. The only common post of ours was when you jacked your car on a part that you couldn't identify...although you decided that it was the RTA...but then said the part you jacked on was not in the picture I posted...althought the RTA was on it. :rolleyes So who doesn't know what they are talking about? BTW, there is no real diff between an M3 RTA and an 325. But I was just trying to help you identify what you jacked to...and now you're ripping me for that? BTW, 90% of an E36 M3 is common to a 325/328 so your comparison to E46's is stupid..whole different car. I most certainly don't know it all...but I most certainly know more than you. Including but not limited to how to properly jack an E36.

People really ought to stop measuring their importance on these forums by the number of slashes next to the badge on their car.

hahahahaha :lol :lol hellrot have you ever seen the rta's from an m compared to a 325???? they are much bigger and quite a bit stronger than on a 325, aren't they???? my question revolved around the possibility of damaging the rtab's or the spring retainer becoming misaligned, which is actually what happened, but you suggested that it was possible to bend the rta's --completely not possible if you know anything about physics, BTW I am a student at the UW so maybe sometime we should get together and talk about stuff, i am curious to see what you could tell me about my car... and i am not being cocky but that diagram you sent me did display the rta's but they are not that way on the M, they are about 50% bigger, stronger, and etc... in order to bend them you would have to have so much weight on them that the springs were literally compressed all the way, not to mention that by the time you would have bent the RTA the rest of the rear subframe would likely be mangled, seriously.

madmguy
02-24-2005, 01:14 PM
at least the diagram looked totally different than reality how it looks on the car, the proportions may have been off in the diagram but it just did not look right to me... oh and I worked in Miami for two years so that is how I afforded my car, even though daddy could have bought it anyways. And I am in no way measuring anybody based upon /// so before we go there let us just drop that all together, I love all bimmers, but just advise that if you are not 100% familiar with something don't tell someone they may have bent something, get me all worried, then I go to my mechanic and my uncle and both say not to place a jack stand there but it definitely could not bend the rta!!!
